Club Rock On

Club Rock On (CRO) is a new Music Entertainment Site (MES) devoted to connecting the end user with individual musicians, bands, concert venues and clubs. CRO incorporates a number of elements designed to keep people entertained, informed, and connected, with an integrated, fully-functional social networking feature, state-of-the-art, multi-functional search capability, streaming audio and video, and up-to-the-minute news, bulletins, and calendars covering the ever-changing world of music.

Club and Concert/Event Venue Searching

End users ("fans") can search nationwide for venues and clubs and view schedules and calendars of upcoming events, concerts and live performances. The CRO search engine offers searches by geographical region, type of performance, genre, or by specific band or musician. Venues and musicians signed up with CRO are able to post all relevant information on dedicated pages that anyone can view. Users can search for a particular venue, club, band or musician and go directly to a page to find details about a scheduled performance, and buy tickets and merchandise online. Users can also relay this information via text or instant messages to all their friends, increasing traffic to a venue or band's CRO page, and, therefore, increasing ticket sales, exposure and networking potential.

Musician/Band Exposure

End users can reach out to their favorite musicians and bands, become online "fans," download tour information, videos and music, purchase a band's proprietary merchandise, and engage in direct online chats with band members. Bands and musicians can track and target their fan base to build up a following and increase exposure to venues and clubs to book more performances. Bands signed up to the CRO site have their own Backstage page, where fans can "meet" with the band online. In addition, bands and musicians can sign up with CRO's online label, where they manage and promote their own careers. This allows the musicians to focus on their music while reaping all the rewards and benefits of being an independent label.

Venue & Club Exposure

In addition to driving traffic to their box offices, venues and clubs can track a band's following to book the best bands in their area. They can also connect directly with the end user to promote upcoming events and build up their customer base. Club and venue owners can instantly upload and update their schedules and calendars to the Weekly CRO page (and on their own page) for anyone to see, without the considerable expense of print ads in local weekly newspapers. Venues can install a video and audio system, supplied by CRO, to stream live performances straight to CRO's Main Stage page, where users can watch and listen in real time, or view past, recorded performances right from their own stage.

End User Features

CRO offers the end user a host of practical features to make their online experience both friendly and functional. Streaming concerts and events on The Stage, CRO's audio/video player, is an entertaining (and free!) way to tune into the latest performances across the country. Purchasing of tickets and merchandise directly from the source through the ROC Shop, chats with club owners, musicians and other users via pages such as The Bar or VIP Rooms, viewing of calendar and tour information on the Weekly CRO page, maps and directions to venues and clubs are just some of the other main features of CRO. Users will have their own personal online space, or My Pad page, to engage in social networking with other aficionados of music and entertainment. My Pad pages are completely configurable by the user, allowing him or her to add graphics, photos, music and videos, links to outside sites (including Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and others), personal information, design their own "apps", post blogs, and send out instant messages and texts.
